People are one of my greatest passions in life. Whether photographing, teaching, or building new friendships, I am reminded of a greater power than ourselves when I see all the different faces and stories that make up our humanity. As an artist, taking photographs of people helps me to express the reverence that I feel and gives me a sense of purpose to create images of beauty, inspiration, and hope in the sacredness in every day life and expressions of unity. 

An explorer at heart, I will continue to travel and photograph people from all parts of the globe. I have also discovered that the world is in my own backyard so I have plenty to explore right here. 

	Windom, MN Following the footsteps of an earlier project in Willmar, Minnesota. a rural community in Southwest, Minnesota with a growing Latino and Somali population, Once Upon a Time Windom, Story of a Community is one of my current local projects to tell the story of Windom through the stories of the diverse people, places and seasons that make up the community.
